3rd China International (KingBonn) New Media Shorts Festival
Shenzhen, China, from 17th to 21th May 2012

We are pleased to announce, on behalf of the organizing committee, that the KingBonn Award 2012 of the China International New Media Shorts Festival, the only state-recognized award in China, has opened its call for submissions!

After running for two editions, the award has attracted about 5000 submissions from over 35 countries. The award provides a unique opportunity for filmmakers to gain the privilege to have their films shown to the massive Chinese audience.

Now we are calling for global submissions in the field of drama, documentary and animation. Any interested individual or organization is welcome to register on the official website kingbonn.cc.

To encourage more excellent short films production, the organizing committee sets up different prizes for the awarded participants.
The highest prize is 300 000 RMB (Pre-tax), which is approximately 36 000 Euros.
Your shorts could be nominated for the following awards.

The Best Short
The Best Drama
The Best Documentary
The Best Animation
The Best Director
The Best Handset Shorts
Special Jury Award
